Greetings to the Fratres and Sorores of Conscendo,
The untrained mind is the fundamental cause of our adversities. It weaves fleeting dreams, endless cycles of repetition, and a central character that suffers — the “self.” Its mechanism is to classify, judge, compare, and narrate without rest. This constant noise confines us to illusory perceptions and seems to conceal our true nature: pure, silent, undivided Consciousness.
Even memories are mental re-enactments that often give rise to guilt and anguish. It is crucial to understand: the mind is an instrument, not who we are. It is useful for exploring adventures in the worlds of form, but when mistaken for our very identity, it takes over like an illusory autopilot.
These mental realities resemble stormy seas. Yet, when we rise above their turbulence, a vast and serene landscape unfolds, illuminated by an unshakable clarity. Believe this, beloved fratres and sorores: extreme duality, with its contrasts and sorrows, persists only as long as we identify with the storm. Beyond it, a peace beyond comprehension manifests — a state of unity that embraces all.
Beyond mental agitation lies a field of indescribable integration and well-being. Everything in the world of forms is projection — dreams in which regressive entities arise as a natural reflection of duality, yet they gain strength only when we give them attention.
The true enigma is not outside, but within: we are not the mental being we see in the mirror. Our real essence is the silent space in which the mirror, the image, and the one who looks arise. It is impersonal Consciousness, observing without judgment of opposites, eternally expressing Itself through infinite perspectives.
Descartes declared, “I think, therefore I am.” The non-dual vision suggests an inversion: “I am, therefore I can think.”
The mind should not be fought, for conflict only reinforces the illusory field. It must be recognized for what it is: a functional instrument, not our identity. When observed without engagement in its dramas, it naturally quiets and becomes a transparent vehicle of the Clarity that we are.
When thoughts or judgments arise, notice: it is not the real “you” acting, but a conditioned mental pattern. Observe it as one observes the weather — transient and impersonal. Without feeding it with attention, it dissolves. The awakened Being does not “use” the mind; it simply knows, and action flows directly, without intermediaries. In this awakened state, the mind is not destroyed but becomes a fully transparent and aligned interface, allowing the Spontaneous Action (Wu Wei) of Consciousness to flow without distortion.
It is essential to understand: the mind itself is an illusion. The only reality is the Consciousness that perceives it. The multidimensional Being does not ask, “Who am I?” — It simply IS. It is the very place where questions and answers arise in the eternal.
To “unify” does not mean to merge with a personal Higher Self, but to recognize that there was never separation. The illusion of the ego is not replaced by a more sublime identity; it dissolves in the understanding that only the One Consciousness is real. Even the most beautiful individuality is only a concept. What remains is the impersonal Being, which is, paradoxically, everything and nothing.
When it is realized that mental worlds are projections of Consciousness itself, life acquires a serene depth. We partake in dramas knowing they are temporary dreams, chosen for the celebration of Self-recognition.
It is not necessary to “ascend” to higher planes to understand this. There is only this one plane, here and now. All dimensions — 3D, 5D, or 1000D — are equally dreams, masks of Reality. The craving for other dimensions is but another device of the mind to avoid the only place where awakening occurs: the Now.
To abandon illusion is not to lose identity; it is to rediscover the Whole we have always been, our true nature. We are the doer, the experience, and the observer. We are the one who embraces and the one embraced. We are the dreamer and the dream. Like an actor so immersed in the play that he forgets the stage — until suddenly he remembers, and acts with mastery, knowing he was always free.
Focus on this Self-recognition. Transform your perception of yourself, and the entire universe will transform along with you. Upon awakening, many realize that the stage was always perfect for their journey, for everything is an immaculate expression of the Divine Play.
Many would ask a genie for everlasting happiness. The surprise would be that, once granted, nothing would change. Awakening reveals that we already are the happiness sought. We are exactly where we need to be: immersed in one of our own dreams, experiencing playful games sustained only by our attention.
Use the mind to dream, but do not be used by it. Reflect deeply on this and allow intuition to rise above the mental narrative.
Let us once more close with a poem on the theme, with fraternal embraces to all:
The more you worry, the more they grow in strength and voice,
But ignore them, and their power dissolves, leaving no choice.
Lose interest in the stories of the restless mind,
Step back from the mountain of problems, leaving them behind.
They vanish like clouds at the break of day,
When you see them as strangers, powerless, far away.
Ignore the mind, let the stream of thoughts flow past,
Pay no heed to the labyrinths it tries to cast.
Rest in the stillness of “I Am,” where Consciousness is known,
Cultivate the vision that thoughts are not your own.
When the mind becomes a stranger, distant from your core,
The obstacles it invents are shadows, nothing more.
There is no mind — only the Consciousness that is real,
All that exists is Consciousness, in its essence to reveal.
Nothing else is true but this eternal light,
And Consciousness is your nature, your birthright.
Silence the mind, find peace and wisdom without end,
That pulses in every being, in the unity I comprehend.
In the eternity of the I Am,
Sincere wishes of Ascension,
Conscendo Sodalitas
